Patrick Leahy, Vice President of Operations
Patrick recently joined the team in 2007 as the VP of Operations and brings years of experience to help the growth of Intelligent Lighting Creations.
Stephen Winkeler, Shop Manager
Stephen is the newly promoted Shop Manager with ILC. He has a BFA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Technical Theatre. Stephen has been with company for more than a year now, and enjoys working in the industry.


Geoff Vines, Repair Technician
Geoff started in the industry in 2002 as a driver and joined ILC in 2005 as a Repair Technician. He is a certified Vari-Lite technician and has had training from High End Systems, Electronic Theatre Controls and Tomcat. He also has extensive experience servicing Martin equipment and has worked on many other manufacturers' equipment.
Justin Stone, Moving Light Technician
Over the past 12 years, Justin has been working in the lighting industry in various capacities. With experience in theatre, concerts, and special events, he has maintained such positions as inside sales, production manager, designer, production electrician, moving light technician and shop technician. He is currently ILC’s moving light technician as well as a certified Vari*Lite repair technician.
Joby Benoit, Shop Technician
At the age of 2 young Joby learned how to flip a light switch, this was the beginning of his long journey into lighting. From there he mastered the dining room chandelier dimmer and by the age of 7 he was throwing light switch raves in his family room and doing masterful work with Christmas lights on the side. Joby came to ILC right out of high school in 2006 and now handles the repair and maintenance of small electronics as well as leading the quality control of ILC's LED department.
Frank Sladek, Shop Technician
Frank is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has been with ILC for over a year.




Terran Belue, Shop Technician/Driver
Terran is a graduate of University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a Bachelors degree in Theatre, a Film Studies Certificate, and a Multicultural Theatre Certificate. She has been with ILC for a year, and is excited for what is to come.
David "Bucky" Buckbee, Shop Technician/Driver
Bucky is the current full time driver for ILC. He moved to Chicago from Spokane, WA where he graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors of Theatre. He enjoys Chicago, and looks forward to the future he has here.
Don Earl Jr., Shop Technician/Driver
Don has worked in Pyrotechnics touring with various bands around the country. He is in his first year at ILC, and is excited about experiencing a different side of production work. He is looking forward in increasing his knowledge with a growing company.
